CGU in Conversation

Not your typical healthcare discussion: In addition to being “one of the most well-respected healthcare entrepreneurs in the nation," according to Jackson Healthcare CEO Richard L. Jackson, JOHN BARDIS is a fascinating and multifaceted personality, conversant on a wide array of issues.

Join CGU President Len Jessup and John Bardis for a captivating, hour-long discussion that explores Bardis’s thoughts on the national healthcare conversation, his passion for helping veterans, his wrestling background and involvement with the U.S. Olympic wrestling team, his views on workplace design, as well as an organization’s obligation to its employees.

In addition to having served as the Assistant Secretary for Administration at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Trump Administration, Bardis founded MedAssets, one of the foremost healthcare financial improvement companies in America, with four out of five hospitals and more than 100,000 healthcare providers signed up as clients.

John Bardis

Bardis was recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Healthcare” from 2011 to 2014. He is also the founder and chairman of Hire Heroes USA, the largest and most successful non-profit veteran employment and training organization in the United States.
